WE WERE BLOWN AWAY BY THE TATTOO ART OF KORO, A DELICATE BALANCE OF THE FIGURATIVE MEETING THE ABSTRACT, THE EXPLORATION OF THE INK + COLOURS THROUGH CONTROLLED CALCULATED STAGES, RESULTING IN PIECES THAT SEEM TO FLOW + COME ALIVE ON THE BODY./ IN HIS OWN WORDS, "THE PURPOSE OF MY WORK IS THE BALANCE + COEXISTENCE OF THE FIGURATIVE ELEMENT WITH THE ABSTRACT EXPRESSIONISTIC AESTHETICS."/
ORIGINALLY FROM GREECE, KORO MOVED TO FRANCE IN 2017, BEFORE EVENTUALLY LANDING IN THE NETHERLANDS AT THE END OF 2018./ HE NOW WORKS AS A RESIDENT AT AD PANCHO TATTOO STUDIO IN UTRECHT, BUT HE'S ALSO A GUEST ARTIST IN OTHER STUDIOS AROUND EUROPE./
